Our mission is to be the catalyst to energize donors and organize contributions in an effort to eradicate breast cancer. Our goals are to provide funding to programs that increase the awareness and importance of early detection, research to help find a cure to breast cancer, and financial assistance to individuals impacted by breast cancer. Funds will be raised through the Greater Milwaukee Racquet for the Cure events.
The Greater Milwaukee Racquet for the Cure is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to raising money for the fight against breast cancer. Toward this goal, we organize the annual Greater Milwaukee Racquet for the Cure Tournament every October, which includes racquetball competitions and other fundraising events. All proceeds are donated to the Milwaukee Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.
All proceeds from the Greater Milwaukee Racquet for the Cure go to the Milwaukee Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, whose vision is "A World Without Breast Cancer." The Susan G. Komen for the Cure promise: to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality of care for all and energizing science to find the cures.
Since our first tournament in 2006, the Greater Milwaukee Racquet for the Cure has raised over $64,000 for the Milwaukee Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. The tournament draws players from across the nation and brings together businesses in our community to support breast cancer research.
